You can check if you need an aerial by using our RBI coverage map and following the instructions.

If your address falls outside 4G PnP zone but within 3G or 4G aerial, then you will need to purchase an antenna from us.

If your address falls within 4G PnP coverage then you will not need an aerial/antenna and you will just need to plug the modem into power to get connected.

If you’re just on the cusp, it’s best to try the modem by itself first, and purchase the aerial/antenna after if you need it.

Our RBI modems have a strong antenna built inside so we don’t recommend needing an aerial. However, if you wish to install one then please contact our approved and accredited partner RSE.
